• Program begins January 1, 2005
• UCIP member counties may call regarding any planning, zoning, or inverse condemnation/land use issue.
• Your first two hours of billed attorney time on each issue are paid by UCIP. Thereafter, UCIP and the land use attorney will consult with you on handling any unresolved issues.
• Attorneys Craig Wentz, a recognized land use expert, and Bart Kunz have been designated as the Hotline land use attorneys available to UCIP members. Their telephone number is 801-323-5000. Mr. Wentz and Mr. Kunz have successfully represented UCIP County members in the past and will respond to your questions.
• Qualified County personnel may call the Hotline. Qualified personnel are County Commissioners, Executives or Council Members, County Attorneys and their deputies and/or assistants, Planning Department personnel, County Managers and Administrators, and UCIP insurance coordinators.
